Height Analytics was founded by Andrew Parmentier and John Akridge. Andrew was Managing Director and Group Head at FBR Capital Markets where he founded and managed FBR’s Washington Policy Analysis team since 2001. John was Managing Director at FBR Capital Markets and spent eleven years on the Sales Trading desk.

Since the firm’s launch in January 2009, the team has grown to more than two dozen exceptional individuals committed to a research product built on integrity and intellectual honesty and free from conventional wisdom and group think. The core of our team has worked together for many years and we have added an eclectic group of individuals to add depth in our core regulated industry research segments and to our special situations team.

Our aim is to understand our institutional clients’ needs and deliver a research product and level of service that moves regulated industry research into new territory. We encourage collaboration, constructive criticism, and deconstructed sector coverage in an effort to generate more significant cross-sector investment conclusions for our clients.
